President Trump who was believed to be seething after it was announced he will not be staying at Buckingham Palace during his state visit in June, has taken to Twitter to call out Her Majesty in what looks like it could develop into a major diplomatic incident.
Trump posted the following tweet: ‘So there was no room for me at Buckingham Castle? BS! I called that Australian dame at Trivago and she’s sorted me out with three nights in the Blue Bedroom, at a real great rate. So great – and full board too. So listen up get plenty of burgers and beans in Queenie!’
Responding to the tweet a palace spokesman told reporters: ‘Mr Trump is something of a maverick as we all know, but let him be warned that if he persists along this course, then he may well find himself residing in The Tower of London when he visits.’
