In an attempt to knock André Rieu’s rendition of Ode to Joy from the top of iTunes streaming chart, an all star group of Brexiteers has been assembled at a London recording studio to record a single commemorating Britain’s official exit from The EU.

Legendary Manic Depressive Morrissey has arranged the track which will feature the vocal talents of Mark Francois, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Sir James Dyson, Dragons’ Den’s Theo Paphitis and The Who’s Roger Daltrey with Ringo Starr on drums.

Mr Francois said: ‘When asked to participate in the project I jumped at the chance. To make a record in such exalted company is a boyhood dream come true. Yeah! Rock ‘n’ roll, baby!’

The Leavers grime-flavoured mash-up of White Cliffs of Dover set to The Dambusters March will be available on iTunes from 6 pm this evening with all proceeds going to the charity Help the Clueless.
